A HISTORY LESSON
Opened in 2008, The 19th Hole Sports Bar was envisioned as THE place where locals could come and leave their
worries at home and visitors to Brown County could enjoy the hospitality that makes our community a top tourist destination.
Work began immediately on the bar and in only 10 days the room that currently houses
the sports bar was transformed. New paint, a new bar, and new tvs were all completed
by the January 1st, 2008 opening date! After three months word began to spread quickly
about the 19th Hole and by the time the warm weather finally came around, the bar was
busier than could be kept up with.
New servers were hired in immediately to deal with the throngs of people including
servers that still work here today: Sarah Fulford and Shannon Simons.
On October 31, 2008 the 19th Hole hosted it's first Halloween party.
The crowd loved it! Over 120 people showed up and packed the Hole and it was then that
the 19th Hole became known as THE Place to Party in Brown County.
2009 was even better than could ever be expected considering the great success of the
inaugural year! We hosted our first ever Poker Run and also participated as a stop in
two others. 2010 has proved to be another banner year for The Hole.
On December 31st regularly over 100 people come and celebrate the New Year with us and The Faze!
As we move into our 4th year we look forward to continuing our success and continuing
to grow as more and more people learn what a great time can be had at Brown County's
Only Place to Party...The 19th Hole Sports Bar!
